What do you do when your plans fail?

I always say to myself, well that was interesting?", then find gratitude for the pivot.

Time away from the monotonous day to day isn't always what you expect.

What do you do when you make plans, have all the details in place then "weather happens"...like literally.. you go with the flow. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe that's exactly what we needed.

To just get out of dodge and be in different surroundings for a few days.

🤸‍♀️

The best part was climbing Crowder Mountain.

I'm not too fond of heights!

Like... at all!

But I pushed beyond the fear and did it anyway. 🧗‍♀️The climb wasn't that bad

It was coming down that was painful.👎

As with life we are told to have joy in our journey, but all too often we complain, moan, and grown and talk about the destination.

We miss the good stuff happening along the way.

Then at the peak we are in pure bliss.🧘‍♀️

But guess what? The next destination has it's own set obstacles.

I encourage you to take time to enjoy and recognize every step of your journey and make notes to look back on. I believe you'll find so much to be grateful for and little treasures along the way.
